I love this season and smells and decoration!!!! I only wish I was dedicated enough to water mums and we would have some lol
So much fun and crafts to do.
So this weekend is my parents anniversary! 45 years!! I didn’t make them a dessert I hate to admit but I am going to make them a yummy dinner. Of course the only reason I didn’t do dessert was because my mom bragged about this cake icing at our local grocery store. So I decided to go for it. Did I ever mention that I am a caterer as well? I guess anyway. As much as I can be with what little advertising I do.
SO my parents birthday menu is going to consist of BBQ Pork, Greenbean Casserole, Corn Casserole, and probably some baked beans or something else. Then Sunday I am catering a meal for four. They actually won it in a donation I gave. Very rarely does someone cash in my donation. Their meals are Apple Glazed Pork Chops, Chicken Parmesan Bites, Corn Casserole, Greenbean Casserole, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Asparagus and Yeast Rolls. Then their desserts are Peanut Butter Pie, Kentucky Pie, Bourbon Ball Pie, and Chocolate Cream Pie. YUM!!!! Now the bad part of all that is how much is going to be left over from all of their food. They only get a slice from each pie.
So someone has to eat it, my husband is going to be out of town next week from Monday to Thursday. Not looking forward to that at all. I hate when he goes out of town. I honestly think that each time it makes things worse between us.
So I have been getting some exercise in and instead of my 3 veggies and fruits a day I have been getting 4 at least. I am super super proud of that because honestly we didn’t do any veggies or fruits at all. Well I don’t want to say at all I should say we ate more meat and carbs than anything else. It was just plain awful.
I do want my kids to grow up knowing a healthy lifestyle and want to have fun while being active and not see it as a pain in the butt as I do.
